Shipping policy

ALUARMOR – SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

1. GENERAL

AluArmor offers collection, courier and/or freight delivery depending on the type, size and weight of the product and the delivery destination.

Because products such as bullbars, front bumpers and rear bumpers are large and heavy, specialised freight arrangements may be required.

This Shipping & Delivery Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

2. DELIVERY OPTIONS

Depending on the product and destination, orders may be:

• Collected directly from AluArmor
• Sent by courier
• Sent by freight
• Sent by specialised transport
• Collected by a transport provider arranged by the customer

The most appropriate delivery method will depend on the size, weight and destination of the order.

3. SMALL PRODUCTS & ACCESSORIES

Smaller products and accessories may be sent by courier where available.

Delivery charges may be calculated at checkout or communicated to the customer before dispatch.

Courier delivery times are estimates and may vary according to the destination and circumstances outside the reasonable control of AluArmor.

4. BULLBARS, BUMPERS & LARGE PRODUCTS

Large products such as:

• Bullbars
• Front bumpers
• Rear bumpers
• Vehicle protection products
• Large mounting components
• Other oversized products

may require freight or specialised transport.

Where the website cannot accurately calculate delivery for a large or heavy product, AluArmor may contact the customer to confirm the delivery arrangements and applicable transport cost.

A separate freight quotation may be required.

5. DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges depend on factors including:

• Delivery destination
• Product size
• Product weight
• Packaging or crating requirements
• Courier or freight charges
• Specialised transport requirements

Where a delivery charge is displayed and accepted during checkout, that charge will apply to the applicable order unless an obvious pricing or system error has occurred.

Where specialised transport is required, the delivery cost may be quoted separately.

6. MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

Many AluArmor products are manufactured specifically for a particular vehicle application.

Dispatch can only take place once manufacturing and finishing have been completed and the applicable payment requirements have been met.

An estimated manufacturing completion date is not automatically a guaranteed delivery date.

Once the product is ready for dispatch, the applicable courier, freight or collection arrangements will be confirmed.

7. DELIVERY TIMES

Any manufacturing, dispatch or delivery timeframe provided by AluArmor is an estimate unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

Delivery may be affected by:

• Manufacturing requirements
• Powder coating
• Material or supplier delays
• Courier or freight delays
• Road conditions
• Weather
• Remote delivery locations
• Public holidays
• Transport availability
• Circumstances reasonably outside our control

AluArmor will make reasonable efforts to assist customers where significant delivery delays occur.

8. DELIVERY ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact telephone number.

Please check your delivery information carefully before confirming your order.

Where additional delivery costs arise because an incorrect or incomplete address was supplied, or because delivery could not reasonably be completed due to circumstances attributable to the customer, additional transport charges may apply where permitted by law.

9. PACKAGING & CRATING

AluArmor will take reasonable steps to package products appropriately for the selected method of transport.

Large products may require protective wrapping, pallets, crates or other specialised packaging.

Where special crating or packaging carries an additional charge, this will be communicated where applicable.

10. RECEIVING YOUR DELIVERY

Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

For large products, we strongly recommend inspecting the packaging and product before or during unloading where practical.

If there is visible damage:

• Photograph the packaging before removing it where possible
• Photograph the damaged area
• Retain the packaging
• Record visible damage with the courier or freight provider where possible
• Contact AluArmor promptly

These steps assist AluArmor in investigating transport damage and lodging any necessary freight or insurance claim.

11. GOODS DAMAGED DURING TRANSPORT

If goods appear to have been damaged during transport, please contact AluArmor promptly and provide your order or invoice number together with photographs of the damage.

Please do not fit or install a visibly damaged product where doing so could cause further damage or make assessment of the original damage more difficult.

AluArmor will assess the circumstances and assist with an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law.

12. COLLECTION FROM ALUARMOR

Customers may collect eligible orders directly from AluArmor by prior arrangement.

Please wait for confirmation that your order is ready before travelling to collect it.

Customers or their transport providers should use a vehicle suitable for the size and weight of the goods being collected.

Large products should be properly secured during transportation.

13. CUSTOMER-ARRANGED TRANSPORT

Customers may arrange their own courier, freight company or transport provider by prior agreement with AluArmor.

Collection arrangements must be confirmed with AluArmor before the transport provider arrives.

Responsibility and risk will be determined according to the circumstances and applicable South African law and will not be deemed transferred earlier than permitted by law.

14. FITMENT CENTRES & THIRD-PARTY DELIVERY ADDRESSES

Where a customer requests delivery directly to an independent fitment centre, dealer, workshop or other third party, the customer must provide the correct delivery information and ensure that the recipient is available to receive the goods.

Delivery of a product to a third-party fitment centre does not make that fitment centre an agent or representative of AluArmor unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Independent fitment charges are not included unless specifically stated in the order or quotation.

15. INTERNATIONAL & CROSS-BORDER DELIVERY

International and cross-border delivery may be available by special arrangement.

Additional costs may apply for freight, customs clearance, duties, taxes, permits and other import or export requirements.

Unless expressly included in an AluArmor quotation, the customer is responsible for applicable destination-country duties, taxes, customs charges and import requirements.

Please contact AluArmor before placing an international or cross-border order where delivery arrangements are unclear.

16. DELIVERY & CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any rights or remedies available to a customer under applicable South African law.
